Santa!

We waited in line to see Santa for a long time tonight!

The reindeer were a lot of fun to play with as we waited.

This baby reindeer was Milan's favorite.

Santa was not as fun as the reindeer:(

Cute Little Monkey

Milan is playing and cracking up with Daddy.

My B-day at Disneyland:)

B-O-O-T-S - Boots!!!

Milan tried on my boots the other day.

These boots were made for walking!

And that's just what she'll do.

Time to try to take them off.

Kinda looks like the Wicked Witch of the West when the house falls on her feet huh?

Recent B-Day Parties

Here is Milan at Andre's first b-day riding a pony. She of course loved the hat and bandana Stephanie provided all the guests. Great western party Steph!

Molly and Milan enjoyin' all the fixin's!

Here is Milan playing at Salvatore's 2nd b-day party. I am so bad - I only took a few pics and there were no other kids in them! Shalimar - it was a wonderful party and Milan had so much fun with Salvatore, his toys, and the jumper!

Milan and an Oh-So-Thrilled Tony!

Every once in a while Milan can "catch" Ton and pin him down for a few minutes to give him some love:)

He looks like he loves it right?

Milan's First Concert

Milan and two of my friends and their babies went to see Laurie Berkner in concert. It was a pajama party! Here are Milan and Taylor sharing a seat.

Molly has an an egg shaker and was busy dancing away.

Taylor is a natural performer and was a joy to watch as she danced and screamed throughout the show.

The girls posed for a pic before we left.

Potty Training Update

After 6 days of potty training, we have not had too many successes:( We have gone from sitting on the potty every 30 minutes, to every 45 minutes as Milan was getting really frustrated (and so was mommy). Each time we go is a struggle. Milan's favorite phrase is , "No want the potty!"

That was until bedtime tonight. She was in the crib and she was standing which is unusual for her. She normally lays down. I asked her what she needed and she said, "Poo poo in the potty." So, we quickly went to the bathroom. She did not want to sit on the toilet ring, so I brought in the training potty.

She sat there for 10 minutes looking at a magazine (US) and pointed to every picture saying, "Mommy" or "Daddy". Mind you, P. Diddy was the first "Daddy";) While it was nice having Milan sit on the potty for a while without a fight, I could not help feeling a bit manipulated when nothing happened and she did not want to go to sleep afterwards. The question is, who is training who????

Finger Painting!

While daddy was making the sausage dressing for Thanksgiving, Milan created her first finger painting project.

Even though I tried to get her to use her whole hand, she was very dainty, clean, and careful. She never used more than one finger at a time.

She did end up using both hands and different fingers seperately:)

She also seemed to stay in that same general spot on the paper.

She loved the project - and her apron. She insisted on wearing it with her dress to Thanksgiving dinner! She kept saying, "Wear 'M', wear 'M'!" So wear the "M" she did!

Potty Training Take Two

Today was the first day of our second try at potty training. I think it was a successful day...Milan sat on the potty several times, and only one accident! We are using chocolate chips and iPod music as incentives for sitting on the potty and for using it. Tomorrow there will be no diapers during waking hours - if we are lucky, the potty will actually be used. For those of you who have potty trained before or who are doing it now, keep us in your thoughts over the next weeks;)

Halloween:)

Better late than never! Being a working pregnant mom can be so busy and tiring...I just have not had the time to blog! I promise with this next week off to be better;)

On Halloween, Jay and I took Milan to a local church to play games and Trick or Treat.

She also got to go on a few kiddie rides.

She insisted on carrying her own bag. Needless to say she got a hole in it before we got home.

Jay carved the pumpkin - I liked it because I like anything vampire:)

Cute little Tinker Bell getting ready to go Trick or Treat around the block.

We ran into Harry Potter (Callan) on our walk:)

Where's Milan?

Milan's newest thing is to get into her doll playpen and then proceed to put all her dolls on top of her. Tonight, daddy helped pack her in extra tight! Kinda reminds me of the doll scene from ET!

Watchin' the Game

Go Angels!!!

I can count!

I finally caught Milan counting today. I did not start it in time to get the "1", but you get the picture. I am also happy to report that she almost has one to one correspondence:) Pretty smart little pumpkin!

Pumpkin Patch with Ava

Little green monster:)

Milan and Ava playing with the pumpkins.

Milan's first Pony ride! She really liked it (unlike when we tried it in the summer)!

"Boo-tiful" girl!

Shape Puzzle

In this clip you will see Milan putting together her shape puzzle. You can also see how frustrated she gets these days when she can't do something right away. I think this is where the terrible two's stem from. Still, it is really fun to see her try until she gets it even when it is not easy for her:)

Playing Guitar with Daddy

Playdough Fun!

Aunt Reta got Milan a playdough set for her birthday. It may be her new favorite thing. Thanks Aunt Reta!
