Playing in the Backyard:)

Milan is 18 months. This age is so fun. I love it so much. She is talking up a storm and is so funny to watch. Here are a few fun clips of her playing with Jay in the backyard.

As you may already know, Milan loves to be outside. It does not matter what she is doing. She also loves to push around her babies. Oh ya, and apparently no one has told her that she is Italian because she does a little Irish dance!

She is quite a character!

Monkeys at the Zoo

Here is a clip of a swinging monkey. He was probably the highlight of our trip. You can hear Milan laughing in the background.

We went down to the Santa Ana Zoo today.
Apparently, they have to have at least 40 monkeys there at all times.

Our little monkey enjoyed seeing them all.

Of course, she would have liked a closer view (like from inside their cages).

It was a fun day:)

18 Month Doctor's Visit

I took Milan to the doctor today. Here are her stats: She weighs 23 pounds and that puts her in the 31st percentile for weight. She is in the 85th percentile for height at 2 feet 9 inches tall. The doc says she is tall and skinny:) Her head is normal sized, and she looks healthy. She got one immunization and cried a little but was better shortly after the nurse left.

On the developmental front, all is well too. She is walking, running, climbing and saying more than enough words. In fact, I actually sat down and made a list of all the words I could think of that she says. Here is what I could think of:

Rain, Rain, Go Away...Come Again Another Day!

Iam hoping to have some professional pictures of Milan taken soon. I got her these fun rain boots to wear. At first, she thinks they look fun and wants them on...

But then she sees how they feel and decides she does not like them as much.

But, you have to admit they are cute!
