"Reading" a Book

This age is so fun! Milan is "reading" a couple of books about animals. It is rare that she lets me take video of her these days without coming up to the camera. She normally does better with the names of the animals, but I will take what I can get on camera these days.

Feeding the Ducks at Eastlake

We took Milan to Eastlake last weekend to feed the ducks. It is getting harder to keep her from falling in!

Dying Eggs with Callan

Obviously, I am behind on my blogging! Calland and Milan enjoyed coloring eggs together. Except that Milan wanted to take off all the stickers!

Playdate with Taylor

During spring break, Milan and I visited Jennifer and Taylor at their house. The girls had fun playing together.

Aquarium of the Pacific

Grandma and I took Milan and Callan to the Aquarium today.

They both LOVED the fish. Callan was of course his impressive self and knew many of the names of the sea life we saw. Milan was impressive too when she repeated, "fishies" over and over again.
I was brave and went without the stroller. It went well, but it did force us to practically run through some of the exhibits and we finished in record time (about an hour).

They both enjoyed looking at the closed aquariums. But, I was the only one who would touch any of the sea creatures:)

The aquarium was fun! Keep an eye out for more pics of playdates with Taylor and Ava, and an Angel's game with Daddy and Callan:)

Richman Baby Playdate

Milan got to hang out with her friends, Molly, Mia, Salvatore, and her cousin Callan. We went to a place called Hullabaloo's Clubhouse.
They had a jumper, a big blowup slide, and a HUGE tree house slide.

The play dates are really fun, but they are starting to be exhausting for me! Milan is at the age where she wants to try everything, but is still a little too uncoordinated to do them on her own. So, that means mommy has to do them with her:)

That means that mommy climbs the big slide while also pushing Milan up. Then, mommy climbs the spiral stairs of the HUGE slide and holds on to Milan for dear life as we spiral back down. After about an hour, I was ready to wave the white flag. I need to work out more to keep up with Milan!

Problem Solving 101

In this clip, you can see Milan dancing and trying to put on her boots. She is a little problem solver:) Notice she is in her signature style with only one sock.
